Dr. Propolus

Walchshofer seems like the perfect way to start out the week. I’ve just rediscovered his work on social media and was reminded of how gorgeous his doodles are. The Austrian-Moroccan illustrator, Ilias Walchshofer or also known as Dr. Propolus is based in Berlin. He transforms fashion photography into playful illustrations of intricate line work and detail. 

Dr. Propolus only uses white lines to contrast from the image to make it the first thing you notice when you look at the image. The playful message of the illustrations over the moody photographs give the overall look very amusing. Dr. Propolus’s work inspires me because he is able to take any image and make it his own unique creation.
